Columbia Street Arsonist – 4/26/2019

Shreveport Fire investigators need your help to identify a group of men who are accused of setting fire to a home and vehicle located in east Shreveport last month.
Back on April 26, 2019, Shreveport Fire Department crews were dispatched to a residential fire at a home located in the 800 block of Columbia Street. It was learned through investigation that the fire was the result of arsonists who were captured on video pouring a flammable liquid on portions of the residence along with a vehicle that was parked in the driveway.
The suspects ultimately set fire to the flammable substance causing intense flames to engulf segments of the residence and the vehicle. Prior to the fire, the same suspects were captured on video surveillance just minutes earlier at a gas station near the area, filling containers with gasoline. The suspects arrived in a vehicle which appeared to be a tan colored Ford Crown Victoria with a dark stripe going across the rear trunk. Video is being released to the public in hopes of identifying those persons responsible for the crime. Anyone with information relative to the identify of those responsible for the crime are asked to contact Crimestoppers at (318) 673-7373 or visit
